Aarhus University has got a site license agreement for some useful programs. Users at NF may download and install those programs via https://ssl.nfit.au.dk
Login with your "standard NFIT login" (the same as for NFIT Email and calendar) and select downloads.
Important: Handing copies over to others is illegal!

These new software pages will contain information on software used at the NF departments, hoping that you will be able to finding an application program fullfilling the need you may have.
The idea is to create an overview with short info on the program's purpose, advantages, and where it is used.

All at NF are requested to contribute with information on their local software.

Microsoft Office for Students
Purpose: Standard office program package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more)
Advantages: Used and installed on most computers
Comments: AU's "Campus license" deal with Microsoft covers AU computers and the staff at AU, but not the students. Instead, Microsoft offers a cheap solution: www.microsoft.com/danmark/office/koeb/ - see Office Ultimate 2007
Get program at: Campus license version is handled by the IT staff

Free Sophos Antivirus program for Mac
Aarhus University uses Sophos on university computers. But, now all private Mac users can get a free Sophos Home Edition:
